As envisioned by PEN and approved by the APA California Chapter Board, the Planner Remembrance program recognizes planners who practiced in California and their contribution to the profession and the communities they served during their career. The Program focus is to celebrate and acknowledge the work and legacy of planners, but special consideration may be given to prominent non-planners whose work is widely recognized to have made a significant contribution to the planning profession or California planning in general.
